Treasures from the Teardrop
Welcome to my blog! I’m excited to begin. Oops, sorry for the half-truth. Actually, I’m only half-excited. I’m also half-nervous about what this new venture might mean for me. Has fear ever kept you from trying something new?
In Treasures from the Teardrop, I’ll introduce you to “Pilgrim,” my new teardrop camper. Right now she’s parked in a fenced paddock with a locked gate, and although she’s made for movement, Pilgrim and I have not made much progress.

But these days I am mustering courage to venture into new territory after having mourned a great loss. That being said, I anticipate that some losses are so deep that they will take us unaware and demand segments of our attention for the rest of our lives. Maybe you have a loss like that.
Topics of Treasures from the Teardrop are two-fold:
- The quest to find a new sweet spot when loss or crisis threaten to shrink our lives, and
- “Rest from the quest” to remind us of the life, joy, and treasures that surround us.
We’ll do some of that together!
